Professional Laminate Installation Services
Once you’ve selected the ideal laminate flooring product, our experienced team ensures a smooth and efficient installation process from start to finish.
Laminate installation is quick and efficient when done by professionals. Our team makes sure your project is done right from start to finish. Here’s how the process works with TFS Flooring Studio:
- Style Consultation & Measurement: We kick off with a consultation to understand your needs and style preferences. Our team will visit your home or business in Kissimmee, Orlando, or anywhere in Central Florida to take measurements and show you laminate samples. We’ll help you pick the perfect design that fits your décor and budget.
- Old Flooring Removal: We move any necessary furniture and carefully take out your old flooring (such as carpet or older laminate) if needed. Our crew then cleans the subfloor of any debris or glue to create a clean, smooth surface for installation.
- Underlayment Installation: A proper underlayment is key to a successful laminate floor. We roll out a high-quality underlayment padding over the subfloor to provide moisture protection, sound dampening, and a level surface for the laminate to float on. This step ensures your floor feels stable and comfortable underfoot.
- Laminate Plank Installation: Our experienced installers then lay your laminate planks, connecting them with the click-lock system for a snug fit. We stagger the boards to create a natural look and carefully cut pieces to fit at walls and around corners. No glue or nails are needed — the flooring floats in place, allowing for slight expansion with temperature changes.
- Finishing & Cleanup: Once all planks are installed, we add finishing touches like baseboards or quarter-round trim to cover the expansion gaps at the walls. We make sure transitions to other floor surfaces (like tile or carpet) are neat and secure. Finally, we clean up any dust or scraps and walk you through your new laminate floor to ensure everything is perfect.
